Dr. Gabby Gottschall

Dr. Gabby Gottschall is a psychologist and a founding clinician at Evoke Psychology. Dedicated to providing evidence-based assessment and therapeutic treatment for children and parents, Gabby tailors individual support to address social, emotional and behavioral challenges in home and at school. 

Dr. Gottschall works with children spanning elementary to high school to address anxiety, depression, executive functioning and social skills with a focus on emotion regulation and distress tolerance. Dr. Gottschall delivers individualized therapeutic support by integrating practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help children and teens build emotional awareness and explore effective coping strategies.

With a background in school psychology, Dr. Gottschall has extensive experience supporting school-aged children and their parents with a range of social, emotional and learning needs in both the public and private school setting. Dr. Gottschall emphasizes a collaborative approach to treatment, including school-based consultation as well as parent support by incorporating Parent Management Training (PMT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to address emotional and behavioral challenges. 

Working with Dr. Gottschall means working in a warm, nonjudgmental and supportive space to explore emotions, understand behaviors and strengthen communication. Outside of Evoke, Dr. Gabby enjoys musical theater, yoga, and time with dogs, friends and family.
