Dr. Gabby Gottschall
Dr. Gabby Gottschall is a licensed psychologist and founding clinician at Evoke Psychology. She is known for her warm, empathic approach and her ability to thoughtfully guide families through the therapy process. Dr. Gottschall is committed to creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, seen, and supported.
Dr. Gottschall works with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents to address social, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges across home, school, and community settings. She specializes in supporting youth from elementary through high school, helping them navigate challenges, including: generalized anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, autism spectrum disorder, emotion dysregulation, depression, behavioral challenges, executive functioning difficulties, social skills, and learning-related concerns. With a background in school psychology, she brings extensive experience collaborating with both public and private school systems to support children and their families.
Dr. Gottschall’s work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She provides individualized, skills-based treatment to help clients build emotional awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and apply tools in their daily lives to create meaningful and lasting change. She takes a collaborative approach to care, frequently incorporating parent guidance and school consultation. Dr. Gottschall is also trained in Parent Management Training (PMT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), supporting caregivers in addressing emotional and behavioral challenges with confidence and consistency.
Dr. Gottschall serves as a co-leader of Evoke’s Multi-Family DBT Skills Group, where she works with teens and their caregivers to strengthen emotion regulation, reduce high-risk or maladaptive behaviors, and improve relationships.
Working with Dr. Gottschall means engaging in a nonjudgmental and supportive space to explore emotions, understand behaviors, and access problem-solving support. Outside of her clinical work, Gabby enjoys musical theater, yoga, and spending time with dogs, family and friends.
